What is NOT acceptable in the studio...

• late tuition payments
• late students
• weekly requests for lesson rescheduling
• monthly requests for lesson rescheduling
• arguing with signed lesson payment or attendance policy
• changing policy to suit personal needs without discussion with the teacher
• thinking that we are the exception to policy whenever it suits our immediate needs
• impatience
• closed-mindedness
• narrow-mindedness
• self-centeredness
• teen-aged self-importance
• egocentric behavior
• disrespect
• repeatedly ignoring the advice of the teacher due to one or more of the above listed reasons
• parental agendas for lesson content or teaching method
• consumerism ("I paid you the tuition, now give me what I want how I want it..NOW")
• continually being unprepared for lessons (not practicing as outlined by the instructor)
• showing up to lessons without materials (books)
• showing up to lessons without a properly functioning musical instrument (sticky valves, slides, etc.)
• not meeting minimum equipment requirements (sub-standard horn or mouthpiece)
• not meeting material (book) requirements
• not meeting minimum musical requiremetns (fingerings, note names, etc.)
